At belo we are looking for a Semi-Senior Fullstack Developer to join our Finance team. We create simple financial products so that people can focus on what really matters to them. Our core services are built using Node.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB on top of AWS. We need resourceful engineers to help our Finance team scale through better internal tooling and automation. What You'll Do

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in TypeScript across both backend and frontend, participating in code reviews and following testing practices to ensure reliability

• Build internal tools, dashboards, and automations that solve real problems for the Finance team, from reconciliation flows to reporting interfaces and operational workflows

• Develop fullstack features end-to-end: APIs in Node.js/TypeScript on the backend and React-based UIs on the frontend

• Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB to model, query, and optimize data for financial use cases

• Integrate with internal systems and third-party APIs (payment processors, accounting tools, banking partners, analytics) ensuring secure and reliable connections

• Follow the architecture, security, and deployment guidelines defined by the Technology team so that everything you build can be deployed to production with confidence

• Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements, and with Technology to align on standards, CI/CD, and scalability

• Contribute to a healthy engineering culture within Finance: bringing dev best practices, raising the bar on internal tooling quality, and being the technical voice in the team
  

What We're Looking For

Must have:

• 3+ years of professional development experience

• TypeScript (backend and frontend)

• React

• Node.js

• Git

• PostgreSQL

• RESTful APIs

• Testing experience (Jest or similar)

• English proficiency

• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• MongoDB

• NestJS

• Docker

• AWS

• Shell scripting

• Experience with finance, accounting, or fintech domains

• Experience with crypto

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment practices

• Portuguese proficiency
