To support operational and financial decision-making at scale, we’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Operations & Finance) to transform transactional, operational, and financial data into actionable insights. This role provides end-to-end visibility into money flows across the platform and acts as a key analytical partner to Finance, Operations, Fraud, and Data teams.

What You'll Do

• Own transactional performance monitoring: define and manage core operational payment metrics such as transaction volume, success/failure rates by provider, transaction type, and geography. Identify anomalies, service degradations, and trends that impact user experience or business results.

• Provider performance analysis: build and maintain analytical frameworks to evaluate payment providers based on processing times, fail rates, SLAs, costs, and performance benchmarks. Act as the analytical reference for provider selection and negotiation decisions.

• Operational financial analysis: produce analyses related to profitability, unit economics, P&L, cash flow, and operational costs. Understand and quantify the financial impact of operational decisions (provider changes, new products, geographic expansion).

• Dashboards and reporting for operations and leadership: design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards tailored for Operations, Finance, and executive stakeholders, ensuring clear visibility into key business metrics.

• Advanced SQL modeling in BigQuery: write and optimize complex SQL queries over large-scale transactional datasets. Build intermediate tables, views, and data pipelines that power operational and financial analytical models.

• Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with Finance, Operations, Fraud, and Engineering to understand money flows, transactional events, and operational processes, ensuring data accurately reflects business reality.

• Data quality control for critical datasets: define and implement controls for operational and financial data sources. Identify discrepancies and ensure consistency and integrity of key business metrics.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within transactional, operational, or financial environments.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL (preferably BigQuery), including complex queries, performance optimization, and relational modeling on high-volume datasets.

• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as P&L, cash flow, and provider cost structures.

• Advanced experience with Tableau or similar BI tools, building dashboards for operational and executive audiences.

• Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments.

• Strong communication skills to present complex analyses clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in fintech, payments, or crypto environments.

• Familiarity with fraud analysis concepts, such as MEDs, chargebacks, anomaly detection, or rule-based scoring systems.
